2. Will there be any additional costs to me?

Buyers should never pay a fee for real estate buying services because the buyer representative is paid through the selling representative. If you are selling your home, you will not pay any additional fees other than what is agreed to on your Provincial listing agreement which you will have with your sales representative. HomeReferrals.net can advise and guide you on market rates regarding what commission you should expect to pay your Realtor. There will be no additional fees from HomeReferrals.net regardless of whether you are buying or selling your home.

3. If there are no costs for using HomeReferrals.net, how does this company stay in business?
HomeReferrals.net receives a referral fee from the Brokerage where your Realtor works. Referral fees are common in the real estate industry. Only a licensed real estate representative can legally receive a referral fee from a home sale or purchase. A referral agreement form is required which will be signed by the buyer or seller, your Realtor and Ken Finch.

4. Why should I use this service from HomeReferrals.net?
You will receive the services of your own personal real estate consultant at no additional cost. A list will be provided to you with everything you should expect from your Realtor. Our service assurance program guarantees constant follow up, feedback and accountability with your Realtor.

5. I would like to search for available real estate for sale, where can I do this?
Click the tab above titled ‘Property Search’. This will open a new window on your computer to Realtor.ca. Formally called MLS.ca, this web site is the best tool for self guided on-line real estate listings. When you are referred to a Buying Representative, your Realtor will send you listings of all available and new homes through your preference of e-mail, fax or print out.  

6. If I am purchasing a house, why wouldn’t I cut out the buying representative to get a better price on the house sale because there will be one less commission involved?
If you do not use the services of a Realtor for a Buying Representative, the Selling Representative Realtor will not have to disperse a commission to any other Realtor and will ‘double end’ the deal, receiving the commission for buying and selling the home. It is essential when buying to use your own Realtor.  

7. If I am not happy with the services from my Realtor what should I do?
Contact us immediately. We will speak with your real estate representative to make sure you are fully satisfied and resolve any problems you may have. If you would like to be released from your buyer or seller representation agreement, we will prepare a Cancellation of Representation Agreement and connect you with an alternative Realtor, at your request.

8. I am interested in purchasing an income property; can HomeReferrals.net direct me to a commercial Realtor?
HomeReferrals.net can connect you with Realtors that specialize in any sector of the real estate industry including shopping centres, apartment buildings, office space, restaurants and industrial locations where the rent collected from tenanted properties produce an income for the property owner.
